Alexa miller
Alexa studied Biblical Theology at Word of Life Bible Institute in upstate New York, where she obtained a certificate in the Bible. After Word of Life, she graduated with her undergrad in Psychology with a minor in the Great Commission at Truett McConnell University in 2020. Continuing her studies at TMU, she graduated with a Master of Arts in Missiology in 2022. God has given her a passion for understanding, teaching + gaining further knowledge of Him. When she's not researching or spending time with her family and friends, you can usually find her reading and journaling at a local coffee shop.
One of her favorite verses is Psalms 84:11, “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly.”
Annie clapp
Annie is a military spouse to Patrick and mother to Whittaker (Adventures in Oddessy fans, anyone?). Annie and her family have moved around quite a bit begining in Kentucky and now currently residing in San Antonio, Texas. Annie's passion is studying God’s Word and its relationship to politics, social issues, and literary work. When she isn’t rallying for the unborn, volunteering at the local pregnancy agency or serving her family, she’s probably reading her 3rd book of the week. Annie stands tall at 4'10", and is the fierce and bold one out of the three of us.
One of her favorite verses is Hosea 14:4: "I will heal their waywardness and love them freely."
Avery ward
Residing in Fayetteville, NC., Avery is a military spouse to Jack, the mother to twins on earth, two babies in heaven, and has a baby boy on the way! She is our "photography guru" at Imposing Grandeur, as she has years of running her own photography business for almost a decade. Due to the tragic loss of her two babies through miscarriage, Avery has a deep passion for counseling moms who have gone through a similar valley while clinging to the hope found in Scripture. When Avery isn't loving on her family or cooking the most delicious meal in her kitchen, she is most likely reading entries from "Beside Still Waters" by Charles Spurgeon for the fifth time.
One of her favorite verses is Psalm 46:10, "Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."
